From April 27, the Textile Museum will present three mini-collections of innovative and sustainable garments, called Wool Diaries. All the items are made of wool. Themes as textile innovation, the value of fashion (heritage) and sustainability are the focus of this exhibition. Wool Diaries is sponsored by The Woolmark Company. The three designers who are challenged to create something with this fibre are Borre Akkersdijk, Oda Pausma and Pauline van Dongen. By using weaving- and knitting machines from the TextileLab, the designers experiment with the wool. The developed materials then were taken to the designers workshops to create two or three innovative garments. The garments are on display at the Textile Museum untill 29 September.
